My New HG Foundation - A Quick Update

Hello gorgeous readers!

Sorry for not updating..I'm just done with my end of posting exam for Psychiatric posting last week and had been really busy with my studies.. And now i'm doing my Paediatrics posting and gosh it's so tiring!

Here's a quick update. I am totally in LOVE with my new foundation! Can you guess which foundation i am talking about? I'm gonna reveal it in my next Haul post i promise..

I think this foundation gives me a flawless and luminous finish which i'm totally digging! My skin feels so silky and i don't feel like i'm wearing foundation at all..

Stage Haul ~ Featuring Stage Wonderluxe and Wonderlust Lipsticks

A month ago, i did a pretty bad damage at Stage because they are having this crazy SALE where almost all items are RM12!

But in this post, i'm gonna feature their lipsticks which i have been loving for years. I bought my 1st Stage lipstick 3 years ago and the first one was PASTEL POSY, and it has been my default nude pinkie lippie since then. My sister loves it, my friend Tia loves it too. Their Wonderluxe lipsticks have a very nice scent, and although the finish is matte, the lipsticks are hydrating enough..

Their normal price for a lipstick was RM45 but i think they have increased it to RM48.

I JUST LOVE THEM!

I made 2 visits to Stage Cosmetics. What i got on the 1st visit

Candid Coral, Midsummer Mauve, Apricot Angel, Candy Coy, Lush Lotus, Audrey(Wonderlust)

I bought Lush Lotus a year ago and abandoned it for an unknown reason, regretted it and now i'm totally loving it again and i have it in my purse all the time! : )

The pictures were taken 3 weeks ago. I think i looked pretty tan. haha!

I was wearing Stage Photo Pro Foundation in these pictures..It has a more runny consistency and it gives me a medium coverage but i think the coverage is buildable. I set this foundation with Chanel Mat Lumiere Powder..

FOTD-Wearable Light Smokey Look

I wanted a wearable smokey look that i can wear without looking too 'out there'..

I always think the left side of my face looks better than my right side..hihi

I had to keep blending the crease so the line won't look too harsh..This one needs a bot more blending i think

What i used:
Face :

• MAC Studio Fix Foundation NC30 (not in picture)
• MAC Studio Finish Concealer NC35 - to cover blemishes and redness
• Revlon Beyond Natural Concealer - Salmon colour concealer to cover dark circles
• Mac Studio Fix Powder - just brush it on lightly to reduce shine around nose, chin and forehead
• Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder #2 - to set the concealer and brighten up undereye area
• Etude House Bronzer - to contour cheek bone
• Tone Mode Cream Blusher by Tears in PK6 - Peachy tint on the apples of my cheeks

Eyes:

• I used the colours from this palette.Too complicated to explain..LOL.. Basically i used 1+2+3 on the lash line and crease. Then i combined 4+5+6 together and kinda blend the crease and lash line. Then i used 7 on the inner part and under my browbone. I used black eyeshadow as my eyeliner.
• MAC Vanilla Pigment - on tear duct and inner half of eyelid
• Revlon ColorStay Crayon liner - line my waterline
• Maybelline Volume Express Mascara

Lips:

• Dior Rouge Lipstick #297 Precious Beige
• Dior Addict Ultra Gloss Reflect #557

Light, natural and dewy makeup for college- My new face routine and drugstore dupes!

Hi everyone!

It's Friday and i can't wait to see my hubby later tonight. We are going back to my hometown (Kedah) tomorrow morning to visit my dad and granny. Oh i miss them so much!

Today i just wanna share with you my new face routine, which is really simple and takes only about 5 minutes. This is a requested look by some of my followers from younger age group (they are like my own sisters- Fathin, Nita, Miera, Bella, Naz and some of their friends who have been my loyal readers. TQ darlings!)

I know some of the products cost a bit more than other drugstore brands and i personally think that students don't have to spend all of their money for high-end makeups. You can use other drugstore products that are actually great for dupes too!

At 8 a.m

8 hours later - 5pm (no touch-ups except for lipgloss)

 After 8 hours, my makeup is still there although my face is shinier compared to the 1st photo. I tend to get oilier around my T-zone, which is quite common and it happens to other people too.

I also listed some drugstore dupes for every makeup i use. You can go and try some of these dupes, and see which one suits you BEST! :)

Sweet Valentine's Inspired Look - Love Is All Around...

Hello everyone!

Even though i don't celebrate Valentine's Day, i am inspired to do a sweet look suitable for occasions like weddings, dates, or a simple candlelight dinner.

Earlier tonight, i attended my friend's sister's wedding and i took the chance to wear this look.

I used some bronzer to contour my cheekbones and a bit on the jaw line. I'm not a fan of excessive shading..

Hello darlings... I've been so busy with new attachment, elective studies, marriage and family.. sorry for the long overdue..

Today i am going to tell you a SECRET.. it's not actually a secret..  Everyone knows about the goodness of this magic item. You can find it in the kitchen most of the time. I put mine everywhere. Yesterday it was in the kitchen, tonight it is inside the room, tomorrow maybe in the shower.. And this is because i use this "Holy item" for almost everything beauty-related. I'm super duper excited today 'coz this is my first entry. My name is Shazreeyana Shukri. Friends call me Yana, my dad calls me Debab ( ya saya chubby..tp tu dulu..skarang chubby lagi tapi kurang la sikit 20kg O: ), my lil sister n brother call me Kak ein @ Kakak, my cousins call me Shena (cewah glamour: only by Myra n Kak Miena), sometimes my dad calls me Shazreen, my Obi and Burgs ( rakan2 burung) call me ayang..

I prefer people calling me "Yana" 'coz its short, simple and easy to remember (mmg la mcm traditional sikit tapi senang kan.cuba panggil Shazreeyana..mau jadi Shaliyana,Syaziryana, Sazliyana, Sazali?)..bagi yg lidah pendek and slalu tergeliat tu, baik panggil i " Yana" ja..

I am a 25 year-old full-time medical student ( tak percaya tak mengapa).. I was born in Kedah and currently i'm studying in Ipoh.

Let me tell u the reasons why i decided to make this blog.. people have been asking me to share my knowledge in these things :

1) Beauty, make-up tips , skin care etc.. ( not that i'm an expert)
2) Life ( believe it or not, i have NO life. or a little maybe..hihihi)
3) Love life?? - ada yg cerita masalah macam saya ni terer je..tapi saya sudi mendengar dan memberi sedikit sebanyak pendapat..kalau tak menjadi harap dimaafkan..
4) Recipes - masak cuma setahun 5 kali..tapi saya tau masak cuma tak cukup time (alasan medical student)

But i'm gonna focus more on HEALTH, BEAUTY, MAKE-UP TIPS and PRODUCTS, and SKIN CARE. These are the things that i LOVE <3>
